Oregon Dairy, located in Lancaster County, PA, offers fun, educational group tours of our beautiful Family Dairy Farm and Market that are great for Pre-school to High School students, Families, Businesses, etc. Enjoy a tractor and wagon ride to the farm and through the barn, see where the cows are milked, visit our friendly farm animals, and learn all about the importance of farming! General Tour Information:
- Tours can accommodate groups up to 100 guests
- Groups of 25 to 50 will be split into two groups
- Groups of 50 to 75 will be split into three groups*
- Groups of 75 to 100 will be split into four groups*
*To accommodate groups of 50 or more, the Market Tour needs to be added to the Farm Tour (additional $3/person).
- All tours are for a minimum of 10 guests. Smaller groups are welcome and available at a flat rate.
- One FREE Chaperone/Teacher per every 5 paying students
- Tours are scheduled from April through October by reservation only.
- Reservations need to be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Tours are available Monday through Friday. (Friday Tours not available between September 20 – October 31) No Weekend Tours.
- Tours will NOT be available Columbus Day, Monday, October 14, 2024.
- A deposit will be required upon confirmation.

Tours are available twice a day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please note, if you see a tour already listed on the calendar, then that date and time are already taken. Please pick another date/time.
Farm Tour Includes:
- Personal Guided Tractor and Wagon Ride to and from the farm
- Meet our herd of dairy cows, tour the barn and milking facilities
- Students will also learn about dairy farming and growing crops
- “I Spy” World Cow Game throughout the tour
- Petting Zoo at the farm that will include goats and a calf!
- Handful of Feed to Feed the Goats
- Sample of Oregon Dairy’s Chocolate Milk
- Mini Vanilla Ice Cream Cone
- An educational hands-on activity
- A goodie bag for the kids and coupons for the adults
- Cost – $9.00/person
- Allow a minimum of 1.5 hours
- For groups smaller than 10 – the flat rate is $90.00
Add-on to The Farm Tour Package – A Guided Walking Tour of The Market at Oregon Dairy
(For Groups of 50 or more The Market Tour is automatically added to the Farm Tour Package – Additional $4/person)

- Walk into a Giant Refrigerator
- Learn how we recycle over 450,000 pounds of cardboard every year!
- See inside a 52′ Tractor Trailer and learn how groceries are received
- View our Giant Freezers that stores your favorite ice cream and frozen treats
- Donut hole from the Bakery Department
- Cheese sample from the Deli Department
- Cost – $4.00/person
- Allow a minimum of 45 minutes
Guided Walking Tour of The Market at Oregon Dairy (Farm tour not included)

If time permits, Oregon Dairy has an amazing playground for the kids to enjoy after the tour. The farm-themed playground includes a spiral sliding board inside a silo, tire climber, sliding boards and a “Secret” Cattle Chute!

Making the Grade!
To make sure our Farm Tour meets your needs as a teacher, we did our homework. The result? You now have access to lesson plans that meet Pennsylvania’s State Standards in Math, Science, and Reading, as well as Common CORE standards in Literacy and Math. These lesson plans include State Standards, Lessons, Reading Guide Pamphlet, Worksheets and Key Vocabulary. We also have curriculum that includes a Lab Component for students in 6th-8th grades. All four lesson plans include an answer keys as well as videos. This will help in planning your pre-trip lessons and also your post-trip lessons.
